I took an intraday short on the eurchf earlier today. I've just closed it off at the lows as discussed in the video at around +20 pips, which is significant on this pair with its average daily range being about 25 pips.
Although our analysis revolved around finding and taking a long position we found ourselves taking an opposite trade when we noticed everyone jumping in early or jumping in on poor quality setups. The impatience, fear and uncertainty underlying those positions produced our opportunity. The movement had good volatility that began right at our expected area suggesting significant winding and unwinding of positions. These we assume were mostly opened out of fear or impatience.
