Thinking Through Ideas

Digesting ideas of a fundamentally different nature takes time. Often our approaches will be intrinsically wrong, which prevents any real understanding from taking root. Just by starting to talk out some concepts immediately I was struck by what perceptual content I was bringing over with me and using that was only getting in the way of clear vision. Those deeper assumptions were causality, symmetry and the possibility of knowing anything ahead of time. Putting aside these three filters the true nature and form of the ideas was allowed to take shape as I walked around the territory. A shape I am sure wouldn't have been revealed had I notice recognized what deeper perceptual filters I was bringing. What perceptual filters I suppose I considered to be universal. Or at the very least we can say all my behavior would align with such a statement but an equally apt description would be to just say I was unconscious so I brought it with me everywhere and applied it to everything.
In the upload and write up I've realized some small additions and corrections I would make to the state of my thinking as I left it. Those will have to wait. Good Trading.
